if you change the driven-i2cprog.pdf this way, it will be more clear.

It can be downloaded here.

Please note that the file is in pdf format.

<EDIT> Converted the Howto into .pdf format which is a much smaller download. A good free pdf reader can be downloaded here

Just to thank everybody who helped me with pictures and instructions on building the driven serial interface and obviously reading the chip itself
