I've bought a used CF-29 Mk4 in good condition. Sadly it has a Bios PW, which is needed to enter the Bios, not for startup. It came without a HDD and CD drive only with an additional battery (want to use the pc for car diagnosis). I put my old HDD from my old broken laptop with winxp inside but when i start it the screen gets black with _ blinking. Like, it seems that something is wrong with the installation. Why I write this? Because I found in the CF-32 bios pw unlock thread that the admin once successfully unlocked a cf-29 via bios update and that's the easiest way if you can enter the OS. I can try to put the old IDE HDD into another laptop with CD drive and clean install win xp on it. what do you guys think about and is there another way to remove the bios pw? Because I can't enter the BIOS, I can't clean install win xp from usb(cant change boot priority)

thanks alot!
