Hi,
Can't see the IC marks in the pictures, but search for an 8pin 24C02 SOIC eeprom.
Usually there's two of them in Vaios, marked as 402W, 402, C02, 2402...
One of the two contains the password and credentials. Once you find it, read it with r24C02 or whatever you like. The password can be revealed with IBMpass. If not, simply zero the first 7 (or sometimes 14) bytes. _________________ Victor Voinea

Hello,
download the PCG-FR315S Service manual from:
http://www.eserviceinfo.com/download.php?fileid=23149
check page # 16, there you can find the location of the label that has the serial number of your laptop, which in this case is fixed on one of the RAM slots. From the first two photos that you posted it looks like the s/n is either 7073462 or 7075462, so for master passwords try: 3809764 and 3807764 to see if any of those work. Check the serial number on the ram slot to see if I get it right. |

Thanks,
even with the serial on the memory slot, mastercode is not correct.
I readed one eeprom, but seems to contain the MAC... |
